HAIR TRANSPLANT

WHAT IS IT?
Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the 'donor site', to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. The technique is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE?
The ideal candidate is between age 25-65 While there are no limits to what age one can get a hair transplant procedure, an ideal candidate is between 25- 65 years of age. Patients younger than 25 are still experiencing premature hair loss, something that might change once they grow older.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Hair transplants are typically more successful than over-the-counter hair restoration products. But there are some factors to consider: Anywhere from 10 to 80 percent of transplanted hair will fully grow back in an estimated three to four months. Like regular hair, transplanted hair will thin over time.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY?
Most people are able to return to work 2 to 5 days after the operation. Within 2 to 3 weeks after surgery, the transplanted hair will fall out, but you should start to notice new growth within a few months. Most people will see 60% of new hair growth after 6 to 9 months.
