WHAT IS IT?

Breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure performed to change the shape and size of your breasts. During the procedure excess skin is removed and breast tissue is reshaped to raise the breasts.

AM I GOOD CANDIDATE?

You may be a candidate for breast lift if:

·         You are physically healthy and maintain a stable weight

·         You do not smoke

·         You desire enhanced fullness in the upper breasts

·         You are bothered by the feeling that your breasts sag and have lost shape and volume

·         Your breasts have a flatter, elongated shape or are pendulous

·         Your nipples and areolas point downward

·         One breast is lower than the other

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

After surgery you will recover in the post- anesthesia recovery area, When the major effects of anesthesia have worn off, you will allow to go home same day accompanied by a responsible adult.

HOW LONG IS RECOVERY?

Patient will need to spend about three to five days recuperating and should plan on taking five to seven days off from work. Exercise and more strenuous activities can be gradually resumed about four to six weeks following surgery. Always speak to your surgeon regarding post-op recovery.
